Courses Taught

I am passionate about teaching and I have an extensive teaching background as an Associate Instructor and a discussion-leading teaching assistant.

As an Associate Instructor, I have developed and taught Introduction to American Politics and Women in Politics. As a discussion-leading teaching assistant I have taught several substantive and methodological undergraduate-level courses, including the Scientific Study of Politics.

In addition, I have taught in a variety of roles and settings: in small seminars and large lecture courses, in person and online, at UC Davis and at CSU, Sacramento.

In May 2023, I was awarded the Marvin Zetterbaum Award for excellence in graduate student instruction, an honor for which I am grateful.

Below are links containing syllabi and sample classroom presentations for courses I have instructed.
